Now you need to accessorize your office. Hang up a bulletin board to place important memos or appointments you must memorize. Add family photos to your decor and make sure that the room is decorated to please you and no one else.

Install a set of shelves or drawers for items associated with your work. If funds are really tight, a set of plastic drawers or simple wooden shelves are good enough.

As you are sitting in the room most of the day, make it look more cheerful by adding some color. Soft tropical area rugs can provide a touch of color, or maybe you would prefer solid color area rugs.
